HOLIDAY PARTIES

Christmas at Taylor Ranch is an especially beautiful event. Our enclosed, heated Lakehouse Pavilion will be fully decorated with fresh greenery, live trees and lots of Christmas cheer!

Take a ride in our horse-drawn antique carriage,enjoy hot chocolate by a roaring bonfire or have Santa pass out gifts to your guests. Call or email our Event Sales & Planning Coordinator today for full details and rates.

THEME PARTIES

We host a variety of theme parties and since we're in the mountains, the Country Western Theme is quite popular. Here is a sample of the itinerary for a Country Western Theme Party:

6:00pm
Arrival at Taylor Ranch, a working Quarter Horse and Texas Longhorn cattle ranch. Ranch activities: Volleyball, horseshoes, softball, badminton, sport fishing, and the Nature Trails.

6:00-9:30pm
Beverages
Unlimited soft drinks, coffee, lemonade, and iced tea. Arrangements may be made for a host or cash bar.

6:00pm until dark
(Optional) Horse-Drawn Covered Wagon Rides: Re-live history on an authentic, old-fashioned hayride in the Taylor Ranch covered wagon.

6:00-6:45pm; 7:45-8:30pm; 8:45-9:30pm (three 45 minute sets)
(Optional) Entertainment by our Country Variety Band and Professional Clogging Team. Enjoy your favorite country music and the exhibitions of our professional clogging team with instruction for group participation square dancing, mountain broom dancing and more.

6:15-6:30pm
Calling of the Animals
The Taylor Ranch staff will call the herd of registered Texas Longhorn Cattle for feeding for all the guests to view and enjoy.

6:45-7:45pm
Dinner Buffet
Option 1: Country Bash Barbeque Buffet: BBQ Pork, Grilled Chicken, Ranch-Style Beans, Potato Salad, Mountain Coleslaw, Rolls and Assorted Desserts.

Option 2: Ribs 'N' Chicken: Barbecue Ribs, Grilled Chicken, Ranch-Style Beans, Corn-on-the-Cobb, Mountain Coleslaw, Rolls and Assorted Desserts.

Option 3: Steak Grill: 9 oz. Ribeye Steak, Fresh Garden Salad Bar, Baked Potato with Butter and Sour Cream, Vegetable Medley, Rolls and Assorted Desserts.

Sunset
Campfire with marshmallow roast. Sit by our cozy campfire roasting marshmallows.
